John's Bay Boat Company

Currently we are building a Gentlemen's Lobsterboat for Scott Dugas of Yarmouth, Maine. Her dimensions are 41' in length, 14'8" beam, 4'8" draft, with a Caterpillar C-12 diesel engine for power. She is cedar planked over white oak frames and will have a mahogany interior. The launching is scheduled for this Fall.

Our railway has been busy this Spring hauling a steady stream of boats for paint and other maintenance work. We also repowered Arnie Gamage's 38' Gail Patricia (built here in 1992). The Gail Patricia also received a new stainless steel rudder and davit fabricated by us.
